Uflex AV and AVL New Color Code Wiring Installation Set Up
Over the last several years Uflex has change the wiring colors and added additional wires on their AV and AVL hatch lifters. The hatch lifter has not changed itself, just the color of the wires. Below you will find information on the color change over from old to new.
Just follow the same schematic with the new colors explained below when wiring in the new AV or AVL hatch lifter. If for some reason you are still having problems, you can contact us here at Marinesteering for additional support.
Old wiring Schematic Instructions for all AV and AVL Hatch Lifters.
Old wiring: White and Black, up and down depending on polarity.
Red and Blue are sync wires, single AV or AVL just attach together.
Dual application AV or AVL terminate red to blue, blue to red.
New Wiring Schematic Instructions for all AV and AVL Hatch Lifters.
New wiring: Black and Blue, up and down depending on polarity.
Green and Yellow sync wires, single AV or AVL just attach together.
Dual AV or AVL green to yellow, yellow to green.
Brown and White, should be labeled “do not use” or not used.
